President Hu appoints new ambassadors

Chinese President Hu Jintao has appointed new ambassadors to seven countries, in accordance with a decision made by the National People's Congress Standing Committee.

Chinese President Hu Jintao has appointed new ambassadors to seven countries, in accordance with a decision made by the National People's Congress Standing Committee.

Shen Jiangkuan was appointed the new ambassador to Djibouti, replacing Guan Jindi.

Lin Songtian was appointed the new ambassador to Liberia.

Zhu Bangzao was appointed the new ambassador to Switzerland, replacing Wu Chuanfu.

Fu Ying was appointed the new ambassador to Australia, replacing Wu Tao.

Cai Jinbiao was appointed the new ambassador to Fiji, replacingZhang Junsai.

Li Lianfu was appointed the new ambassador to Cuba, replacing Wang Zhiquan.

Wang Zhiquan was appointed the new ambassador to Trinidad and Tobago, replacing Xu Yanan.
