Premier Wen meets Lions Clubs delegation
Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met Monday with a delegation from Lions Clubs International, led by Dr. Tae-Sup Lee.

met Monday with a delegation from Lions Clubs International, led by Dr. Tae-Sup Lee.
The premier praised the charity organization's global activities for helping people and also its active cooperation with its Chinese partners.
Wen said Chinese government cares about the disabled. Assistance to more than 60 million disabled people is one of the government's most important tasks, he said.
Among weak groups, the disabled should have special care and assistance from society, he said.
He also expressed China's willingness to strengthen cooperation with Lions Clubs International.
