Chinese Vice-Premier Huang Ju said in Beijing Monday that China would appropriately open its financial market to foreign companies in coming years.

Meeting with Rijkman Groenink, chairman of ABN AMRO Bank, Huang said his government is going to actively push forward a stable development of the domestic capital market in accordance with management and risk prevention capabilities of Chinese financial companies.

A recent policy adopted by the State Council stresses promoting the development of funds which make investment into the securities market, Huang said.

He said China welcomes the Dutch bank's partnership with a Chinese company in establishing a funds management business.

Since China's access into the World Trade Organization, Huang said, China has carried out extensive cooperation with foreign financial companies.
