More toys to be produced in Guangdong
South China's Guangdong Province,the world's leading toy maker, will see a 5 percent rise in production and export of toys this year.

Province,the world's leading toy maker, will see a 5 percent rise in production and export of toys this year.
The figure was released at the Guangzhou international toys, children's products and souvenirs exposition that opened here on Friday.
The province made toys valued at 41 billion yuan (about 4.94 billion US dollars) last year, accounting for 70 percent of the national total, and delivered over 4.2 billion US dollars worth oftoys for export, up seven percent from 2002, said Yang Kaimao, president of Guangdong Provincial Association of Toys.
The toys made by Guangdong were sold to 128 countries and regions of the world. The province's toy exports to the
United States
were valued at 2.27 billion US dollars last year, up 3.46 percent.
The exposition will close on Sunday.
