Mozambican president visits Sichuan
Mozambican President Joaquim Alberto Chissano on Thursday morning concluded his working visit to Sichuan Province in southwest China.

Mozambican President Joaquim Alberto Chissano on Thursday morning concluded his working visit to
Sichuan
Province in southwest China.
During his stay in the province, Chissano attended a trade seminar between Mozambique and Sichuan, expressing the hope that business people from Sichuan were welcome to invest in Mozambique.
Chissano visited a food processing company and a paddy rice institute of Sichuan Agriculture University, expecting more exchanges and cooperation with the university.
The Mozambican president also visited Dujiang Dam (Dujiangyan),40 km northwest of Chengdu, capital of Sichuan, which is the world's oldest water conservation project now operational in agriculture.
Chissano arrived in
Beijing
Sunday for a six-day visit to China.He will also visit
Shanghai
, China's financial hub, as his last leg of China tour.
