Official calls for efforts to secure comprehensive public security
font size

A senior Communist Party of China official called Monday for full implementation of the scientific concepts of development and political performance across the country to maintain a stable situation.

Luo Gan, chairman of the Central Committee for Comprehensive Management of Public Security, said establishment of such a concept is of great importance and a major part of the building process of an all-round well-off society in China.

He also required Party committees and governments of all levels use the scientific concepts to guide their work of comprehensive management of social security.

"Grassroots work should be further enhanced and a preventive and control system for social security should be set up. Town and community comprehensive management bodies must accordingly improve their work ability," said Luo.

"Both reward and responsibility mechanisms should also be launched and implemented so as to promote people's responsibility awareness."
