Four US Marines killed in Iraq

The US military said Wednesday that four US Marines were killed in attacks over the last two daysin Iraq's western Anbar province.

The US military said in a statement that the four Marines belonged to I Marine Expeditionary Force and were killed "as a result of enemy action."

The statement added that two of the Marines were killed in action on April 13 and the other two in action on April 12.

Falllujah, which US Marines have besieged for the past 10 days,is located at Anbar province.

Some 70 coalition soldiers and 10 times that number of Iraqis have been killed in clashes in Iraq since April 1, the US militarysaid Monday.
