Qurei intends to reshuffle cabinet

Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmed Qurei announced that he is intending to reshuffle his cabinet, official Palestinian sources revealed on Friday.   The sources, which spoke in status of anonymity, said that next month, "the political situation in the Palestinian territories would witness a dramatic changes, where many decisions deal with the internal Palestinian situation would also be taken."

Among these changes is to go for a reshuffle or may be the current cabinet of the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) would resign and a new cabinet would either be nominated or elected, said the sources.   They said that Qurei is extremely depressed of the current internal political and economical situation, adding that Qurei's statements came after he looked at a political report conducted by the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC).   The report blasts the performance of his cabinet and calls it to carry out an immediate reshuffle.
