Well-known German auction company enters China market

Chinese antique collectors have drawn more world attention with their collections which are more competitive not only in number but also in price.

Michael Trautmann, director of the Fine Asian Art Department of the Germany-based Nagel Auction Company, said here Friday that his company was auctioning more than 50 pieces for the spring season auction.

Nagel came to China for face-to-face communication with the Chinese collectors, said Trautmann. On Nagel's global website, many registered members came from China.

Nagel was founded in 1922 in Stuttgart.
