During his China tour this time, Mr. Zedillo will also attend the Bo'ao Forum for Asia scheduled from April 24 to 25 in South China's Hainan Province, a forum which tries to find a focus for future economic co-operation in Asia, and is expected to deliver a speech themed "China's peaceful rise and economic globalization".

A Yale trained economist born in 1951 in Mexico City, Mr. Ernesto Zedillo was president of Mexico from 1994 to 2000.
