China, DPRK have tradition of high-level visits, FM spokesman

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Kong Quan said Tuesday that China and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) are friendly neighbors and the governments and parties of the two countries have a tradition of high-level visits.

Kong said at the ministry's regular press briefing that the high-level visits between China and the DPRK have been enhanced continuously in recent years.

The leaders of the two countries exchange their views on issues of common concern through different ways, Kong said, adding that their topics include improving bilateral relations and cooperationas well as other regional and key international issues of common concern.
