Fireworks explosion kills 14 in east Chinese province

Fourteen people were killed in a fireworks explosion at a farmhouse in Jiaocunmiao Village in Heze City of east China's Shandong Province on Thursday afternoon.

Three persons were injured during the accident.

Upon receiving the report, leading officials of Shandong Province and Heze City rushed to the spot to organize the rescuing.

The cause of the accident is being investigated.
