Arab countries call for politically, economically boycott to Israel
font size

A senior official called on the Arab states Monday to reactivate the political and economic boycott to Israel during the 72nd conference of the Arab Regional Offices of Liaison Officers.

Ahmad Khazaa, General Commissioner for the offices, made the call in a speech on the opening ceremony of the conference.

It is important for the Arab countries to boycott Israel, he said, describing it as an "active reaction to the barbaric policy" of Israel.

"The boycott concept represents a moral and struggle value and forms a kind of peaceful resistance to spread the boycott culture by all available means," he added.

The conference will last for four days with the participation of 19 Arab states, during which how to reactivate the boycott will be discussed.
