Chinese vice-premier meets Kazak defense minister

Chinese Vice-Premier Huang Ju said Tuesday that he believes China and Kazakhstan and their peoples will usher in a new era in the development of bilateral relations with efforts from both sides.

Huang made the remarks at a meeting with Kazak Minister of Defense Mukhtar Altynbayev.

Huang pointed to the deepening political mutual trust, strengthening economic and trade exchanges, expanding cooperative spheres and continuously advancing good-neighborly friendship between the two countries in recent years.

He voiced China's appreciation for the Kazak government's support for China on many issues.

Altynbayev said Kazakhstan will strengthen cooperation with the Chinese side within different frameworks including the Shanghai Cooperation Organization so as to make efforts for safeguarding regional stability and promoting common prosperity.
