font size

Residents invited to catch the first glimpse of Shenzhen's first subway train, Movia, inspect the interior of the train at Shenzhen Metro's Zhuzilin Station on Wednesday when city officials held a grand ceremony to welcome the German-built train.

The six carriages can accommodate up to 2,502 passengers.

Movia will be one of the first to run on phase I of the Metro system, which is expected to be put into service by the end the year.
