Taiwan companies expand recruitment from home

Job markets across the Taiwan Straits get warm hand in hand. Taiwan companies in the mainland expand recruitment from Taiwan. Statistics from 104 Job Bank show that vacancies in Taiwan companies increased sharply by nearly 60 percent from the same period of last year and talents in international trade, high-tech and sales are the most wanted.

Report on job market issued by 104 Job Bank shows presently Taiwan companies spare totally 5083 vacancies to Taiwan, an increase of 57 percent from the 3231 at the same period last year. Insiders analyze that, as Taiwan companies are eager to explore the market in the mainland, professional experience, work experience in the mainland, college degree, English proficiency will be the pointer of job hunters.

Sales director of 104 Job Bank said, more are required for job candidates with more opportunities on the mainland. Three years ago, the mainland asked most of the Taiwan senior executive aged above 40. Now they eye more on young medium level with not only three to five years of work experience but even experience on the mainland.

The director said more jobs are asking for English proficiency shows Taiwan companies hope job candidates to have college degree or above and ability in communication in English to assist exploit the market.

The top five hot jobs are international trade operation, accountant, high technology, quality assurance and sales.

With regard to job hunters from Taiwan to the mainland, there were10, 455 in April, 2 percent more than the 10, 208 in March, according to figures from 104 Job Bank.
