font size

People who plan for outings or to go traveling extensively during the coming May Day holidays have been admonished to abide by traffic law, value their precious lives and keep vigilance on safety during their trips.

The Traffic Administration under the Chinese Ministry of Public Security issued a warning concerning safety issue on Friday, saying that the traffic flows around the country are expected to increase remarkably during the "golden week" for tourism.

Local traffic administrations have, meanwhile, issued similar advices to incoming tourists. For instance, local police department in southwestern Yunnan province, one of China's top tourism destinations, asked tourists not to take risks and ride unsafe transport vehicles including tractor.
