EU enlargement

Irish Prime Minister Bertie Ahern (C), whose country is holding the rotating presidency of the European Union (EU), EU Commission President Romano Prodi (1st L) and European Parliament President Pat Cox pose in front of the map of the new EU in Dublin, Ireland, May 1, 2004. The EU enlargement ceremony will be held in Dublin on May 1. Leaders of the 15 EU member states and the 10 countries to become EU's new members will take part in the ceremony.
