Beijing confirms one more SARS case

China Saturday confirmed one suspected SARS patient does have the respiratory disease.

The Health Ministry said the patient, surnamed Yang, was confirmed be receiving treatment in Beijing's Ditan Hospital one week ago.

The ministry added there were no new SARS cases on the Chinese mainland in the 24 hours preceding 10 o'clock Saturday morning.

So far, China has reported six confirmed SARS cases and three suspected ones, of which two are in Anhui and the remaining seven are in Beijing.
