The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) criticized on May 3 the United States for conducting a street battle exercise with the DPRK as the alleged enemy and urged it to give up military threats to its dialogue partner.
According to Rodong Sinmun, DPRK's major paper, the US military police forces in South Korea conducted a military exercise under the simulated
conditions of a street battle allegedly to cope with DPRK's special force.
"Military actions are incompatible with dialogue. The US saber rattling against the DPRK will only destroy the atmosphere of dialogue and complicate the
situation," the paper said in a commentary.
"The US adventurous military actions will only compel the DPRK's army and people to bolster war deterrent force with highest revolutionary vigilance," the
commentary added.
