Singaporean deputy PM to visit China

Singaporean Deputy Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will pay a visit to China from May 12 to 17 at the invitation of Chinese Vice-Premier Wu Yi, according to sources with Chinese Foreign Ministry in Beijing on May 8.

During his visit, Lee Hsien Loong and Madame Wu will co-host the first meeting of a bilateral cooperation joint committee and the seventh China-Singapore Joint Steering Council of the Suzhou Industrial Park, sources said.
