China will play Hungary in a soccer friendly in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, on June 1 to warm up for their World Cup qualifying tournament, the China Football Association announced Saturday in Beijing.
China, who just returned from a disappointing European tour, will take on Malaysia on June 9 in their third World Cup qualifier.
They have recorded two wins in the qualifying tournament, beating Kuwait and Hong Kong, China in their first two matches.
Dutchman Arie Haan's side were humiliated by Barcelona 6-0 in afriendly last month. They were held by minnows Andorra 0-0 and managed a 1-0 win over Algeria in France in the other two matches during the European tour.
