Michael Jordan, the greatest hoops player of all time, will visit Hong Kong as part of his upcoming Asia Tour, his tour organizer announced on Sunday.

Jordan's Asia Tour includes stops in Beijing and Hong Kong, followed by Taipei and Tokyo. In Hong Kong, "His Airness" will promote the global reach of the game of basketball as the sport's most recognizable ambassador and inspire youth and fans by reinforcing the importance of excellence in every endeavor.

Arriving on May 20, Michael Jordan will take part in youth and media focused activities. On May 21, he will attend a press conference, the Opening Ceremony of the Jordan Exhibition and the Jordan Cup, where he will teach the importance of dedication, commitment and drive - the characteristics that made him the most recognizable and successful athlete in the world today, both on and off the court.

"If you aspire to excellence in everything you do, the sky is the limit," Jordan was cited as saying to local fans by his tour organizers.
