It's official... basketball legend Michael Jordan will arrive in Beijing on his private jet next Tuesday, or May 18th, for his first ever China visit.

The three-day China trip is part of Jordan's 2004 Asian tour sponsored by sportswear giant Nike.

Nike has confirmed that the 41-year-old star will also travel to Hong Kong, Taipei and Tokyo after his visit to Beijing.

The NBA legend will have a busy three days in the Chinese capital, promoting Air Jordan sneakers, chatting with internet fans and playing basketball with high school kids.

The flying man will attend an exhibition at downtown Beijing's Oriental Plaza showcasing his 20-year career.

In addition, Jordan will be present at the finals of Nike's High School Basketball League, and fans will be thrilled to enjoy a one-on-one face-off with the greatest ever basketball player.
