More customs houses open for drugs imports

The Announcement on Administration of Customs Houses for Drug Imports jointly issued by the State Administration of Food and Drug declares that from May 1, 2004, drugs imports are allowed at all customs houses which are under control of customs in 18 cities designated by the state government for drug imports. The customs where the customs houses are located deal with procedures for drugs with Declaration Document for Imported drugs on which the name of the customs house is marked.

The 18 cities which are entitled to import drugs according to the announcement are: Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Dalian, Qingdao, Chengdu, Wuhan, Chongqing, Xiamen, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Fuzhou, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Haikou, and Xi��an.
