Two more US soldiers will stand trial in connection with abuses of Iraqi prisoners at Baghdad's AbuGhraib prison, Brigadier General Mark Kimmitt announced Wednesday.
Staff Sergeant Ivan Frederick and Sergeant Javal Davis were ordered to undergo a general court martial, said Kimmitt, the coalition's deputy operations director.
But the date and venue of the trial had not been set, he added.
According to Kimmit, Frederick will face several charges including maltreatment of detainees, assault and a charge of indecency relating to watching detainees commit asexual act, while Davis is accused of maltreatment and assault among other charges.
Army specialist Jeremy Sivits, 24, was ordered on May 9 to face a court martial scheduled to take place in public in Baghdad on May19.
Photographs of naked Iraqi detainees being tormented by Americanguards have stirred outrage throughout the Arab world and undermined the US efforts to pose as a democratic advocator in Iraq.
