A special book is issued in Beijing Saturday to mark the approaching 100th birthday of late Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping.

Containing a compact disc recorded with Deng's voice, 30 commemorative stamps and some of Deng's inscriptions and photos, the book aims to reflect all major events

in Deng's life.

The stamps include ones commemorating the return of Hong Kong and Macao, the 20th anniversary of the Third Plenary Session of the Thirteen Central Committee of the Communist Party of China which unfolded the nation's reform and opening-up policies and the anniversary of Deng's death.

Each copy of the book was arranged with a special serial number and only 10,000 copies are published.

The book was edited by the Party Literature Research Center of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and published by the Party Literature Publishing House. Source: Xinhua
