Senior military officer meets Pakistan guest

Li Jinai, head of the General Armament Department of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, met in Beijing Tuesday with Pakistani Chief of the Naval Staff Shahid Karimullah.

Li spoke highly of the relationship between China and Pakistan and the two armed forces, saying the two sides share a comprehensive friendly ties of cooperation which is of great potential.

Karimullah said that Pakistan and China share very friendly ties and China is Pakistan's "most reliable" friend. He said he hopes the exchange and cooperation between the two armies can be strengthened.
