Cote d'Ivoire president sacks three ministers

Cote d'Ivoire President Laurent Gbagbo has signed a decree announcing the dismissal of three opposition ministers, including rebel leader Guillaume Soro, state television reported on Wednesday.

The three ministers, Soro, who served as communications minister, Economic Infrastructure Minister Patrick Achi and Youssouf Somahoro, the minister in charge of technical education, has stepped down from their posts on Tuesday as the decree ruled.

They were immediately replaced by representatives from Gbagbo'sruling Ivorian Popular Front.
