Kasuri, Singh to expedite Indo-Pak peace processForeign Minister of Pakistan Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri spoke on Tuesday to India's External Affairs Minister K. Natwar Singh to foster the Indo-Pak peace process. In the course of the talk, the two leaders expressed their determination to further expedite the present process in Indo-Pak relations, the Press Trust of India (PTI) reported. Kasuri's seven-minute telephonic call to Singh followed a congratulatory message on his assumption of office. "Both ministers expressed their determination to continue and further expedite the present process in India-Pakistan relations, building upon the support provided by the people in both the nations," the PTI cited external affairs ministry spokesman Navtej Sarna as saying. Singh recalled that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in his recentconversation with Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf, had also conveyed support for the process and emphasized the need for it tocontinue in an atmosphere free from the menace of terrorism and violence.
