Chinese, British FMs talk over phone

Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing and British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw held a phone conversation Monday night, exchanging views on the draft resolution on the Iraq issue presented to the United Nations Security Council.

They agreed that the ambassadors of the two countries to the United Nations will make more contact and consultation on this issue.

The two sides also agreed to exert joint efforts to strengthen Sino-British relations.
