ROK, DPRK to discuss details of joint march in Athens Olympics
font size

Seoul and Pyongyang will hold discussions on the planned joint march of their athletes in this year's Athens Olympics in late June in Beijing.

The South Korean Olympic Committee said after meeting with North Korean Olympic officials in the truce village of Panmunjom last week, the two sides agreed to hold working-level talks on the matter in Beijing from June 23 to 25.

The agenda of the discussion will focus on issues such as the number of participating athletes and the uniforms and flag to be used.

The two countries on the Korean Peninsula agreed in February to march together during the opening and closing ceremonies of the Athens Olympics.
