font size

Pakistan and India will hold talks on nuclear issues later this month, a Pakistani Foreign Office statement said Tuesday.

"The government of India Tuesday proposed June 19-20 for the Expert Level talks on Nuclear Confidence Building Measures (CBMs) and June 27-28 for Foreign Secretary Level," the statement said.

Pakistan has accepted these dates, it said.

The nuclear talks were earlier scheduled on May 25-26 but were postponed due to change in India.

The foreign secretaries of the two countries agreed in Februarythis year to hold composite dialogue on various issues, including the question of Jammu and Kashmir.
