Lenovo discloses 03/04 fiscal year record

Lenovo disclosed its track record for 03/04 fiscal year in Hong Kong on June 2. Between Apr.1,2003 and Mar.31, 2004, Lenovo achieved a turnover of 23.18 billion HK dollars, up 14.5 percent over the same period of last year. The net profit increased by 3.5 percent.

Yang Yuanqing, CEO of Lenovo, said the core business of the company grew steadily and performed well in 03/04 fiscal year. He also added new business had impact on their whole performance to some extent.

As learned Lenovo has adopted more aggressive strategies to expand its PC business, i.e., being closer to clients, winning more clients and maintaining long-term relationship with clients.

At present, Lenovo¡¯s sales arm extends to 18 regional operations and 108 net grids.
