China Domestic Travel Mart kicks off in Hangzhou

The China Domestic Travel Mart kicked off here Friday in Hangzhou, capital of east China's Zhejiang province.

With nearly 2,000 booths, the mart covers 37,447 square meters, with over 30,000 exhibitors coming from nationwide travel agencies, scenic spots, hotels, sightseeing bus companies and related industries. During the two-day mart, they will display their

regional culture and beautiful nature.

Zhejiang Province organized the biggest delegation occupying 552 booths. The western region including Sichuan, Guizhou, Shanxi and Xinjiang all increased their number of booths.

This year marked the 11th Domestic Travel Mart. Experts said the mart will provide special opportunities for tourism operators to learn from each other and exchange ideas.
