Beijing the venue of ISIA's first global event in China

China's State Council has approved Beijing to host the 28th global conference of International Social Insurance Association (ISIA) in September this year. This is the first time that ISIA holds its global event in China in its 77 years of history.

The International Social Insurance Association is the most representative international organization in social insurance. It has 386 member institutions from 149 countries around the world.

China has been in the organization since 1994 and has its executive members in it. A special China session will be held during the upcoming meeting to discuss common problems that China and the international community are facing in the social insurance field.

A Beijing Declaration will be issued when the meeting is concluded.
