Qishan burial site possibly that for the clan of Duke of Zhou
Of the archeological activities on Western Zhou over the past 70 years, Qishan graveyards may be the only large relics of Zhou population ever found. From the burial sites the walls, oracles and advanced buildings and graves are discovered and the oracles reading "Duke of Zhou (Zhou Gong)" appeared many times there. (More)

Olympic flame relayed to Japan from Australia
The Athens Olympic flame arrived in Tokyo on June 6 from Melbourne, Australia for the second leg of a six-week relay in the run-up to the Olympic Games in August. Former baseball player Kazushige Nagashima was the first torch bearer on the 53km run in Tokyo, the host of the 1964 Games, with 15-year-old table tennis player Ai Fukuhara running the final leg.
