font size

A set of special stamps depicting the many faces of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) Garrison Troops in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) will be issued on June 30.

The set comprises six mint stamps.

Tony Ho designed the stamps that were printed in lithography by Joh Enschede BV of the Netherlands.

A series of associated products will also be available from June 30. They include mint stamps, prestige stamp booklets, presentation packs, and serviced first day covers.

Hong Kong returned to the motherland on July 1, 1997 and the PLA troops have been stationing in Hong Kong since then.
