France, Britain and Germany presented a draft resolution on Tuesday, calling for continued inspection of Iran's nuclear facilities and urging Iran to fully cooperate with the UN atomic agency.
The resolution, preparing for a 35-country review of Iran's suspect nuclear program, said Iran has cooperated with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in the inspection of itsnuclear facilities and permitted IAEA officials to enter its nuclear facilities, including military ones.
However, according to the resolution, Iran's cooperation is not"complete, timely and proactive."
The resolution called for Iran to take all necessary measures to clarify remaining problems in its nuclear program.
Analysts said the resolution does not criticize Iran vehemently, nor does it draw a criticizing conclusion, and therefore might be accepted by most IAEA members.
Iran said Sunday that it has answered all IAEA questions about its nuclear program and the UN atomic agency would not declare it in violation of international obligations, despite the tough US stance.
The United States has suspected that Iran has been developing its nuclear weapons clandestinely and tried to submit the issue tothe UN Security Council, a move that was opposed by most of the IAEA member countries.
The 35-nation IAEA's board of governors will meet here on June 14 and discuss the draft resolution prepared by the three Europeancountries.
