UN chief strongly condemns killing of Chinese workers

UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan condemned Thursday the killing of 11 Chinese construction workers in Afghanistan.

"He condemns this outrageous and contemptible act against unarmed civilians," the UN chief said in a statement.
