font size

Croatia dominated the match but were forced to a disappointing 0-0 draw by 10-man Switzerland in a Group B match at the European Championship on Sunday.

Swiss midfielder Johann Vogel received his second yellow card four minutes after the interval as he felled Niko Kovac and kicked the ball away.

Croatia had most of the play but squandered several chances while Swiss goalkeeper Joerg Stiel, at 36 the tournament's oldest player, put up several great saves to denied Croatia's efforts.

Group B also includes France and England who are to play their first game of the tournament later on Sunday. Enditem
