78.1 percent auto light fittings qualified

Some 78.1 percent of automobile light fittings made in China are qualified, according to the latest sample survey conducted by the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.

The survey showed 25 out of 32 brands of auto light fittings made by 32 factories in Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang met the national quality requirements.

Automobiles, especially sedans, have been selling fast in Chinain recent years and the number of traffic accidents has also on the rise.
