3rd round six-party talks to be held June 23-26 in Beijing
font size

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zhang Qiyue announced Tuesday that the third round of six-party talks will be held during the period between June 23 and 26 in Beijing, and the second working group meeting of the six-party talks will start from June 21 to 22.

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) confirmed Tuesday that the third round of the six-party talks on the DPRK's nuclear issues will be held in Beijing on June 23.

The US attitude toward the DPRK-proposed "reward for freeze", meaning compensation in return for freezing its nuclear weapons development, would become a touchstone discerning the US real intention at the talks, said a spokesman of the DPRK's foreign ministry.
