font size

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zhang Qiyue said Thursday that US Secretary of Commerce Donald Louis Evans and US Secretary of Labor Elaine Lan Chao will visit China soon.

At the invitation of China's Ministry of Commerce, Evans will visit China from June 19 to 24. At the invitation of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of China, Chao will visit China from June 21 to 24.

At the regular press conference, Zhang said economic and trade relations between China and the United States developed closely at the moment, although there are some difficulties and disputes in the course of development, adding that it is not strange.

She said the visits at the ministerial level and between the leaders of China and United States showed that both sides expected the economic and trade relations to develop smoothly, which is important not only to the two nations but also to the world economic growth.
