Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met Thursday with Hasan Ghafoori Fard, chairman of the Iranian House of Political Parties.

Wang spoke highly of the important role the Iranian organization has played in the political circles in Iran and its contribution to the communication between the CPC and the Iranian parties.

Wang said that he hoped the Iranian House of Political Parties would continue to serve as a bridge between political parties of the two countries for the development of their relations.

Ghafoori Fard expressed admiration for the rapid development of the Chinese economy, and said his organization would work for further exchanges and cooperation between political parties between Iran and China.
