Five people were killed when a bus and a mini-bus collided in Zengcheng city on a highway linking Guangzhou and Shantou cities in south China's Guangdong Province Thursday.
The accident also saw 12 other passengers injured. Four seriously injured persons have been transferred from a village hospital to Zengcheng Hospital for rescue.
Police has detained the bus drive and is investigating the cause of the accident.
