Half of world's stamp collectors are Chinese

The International Philatelic Federation says over half the world's 20 million stamp collectors come from China at the ongoing 2nd China Philatelic Exhibition Senior Session, CRIENGLISH.com reported Friday.

With such a huge population, China has a lot of many things, and now there's a new statistic to add to the list.

The International Philatelic Federation, or FIP, says over half the world's 20 million stamp collectors come from China.

The FIP released the figure at the ongoing 2nd China Philatelic Exhibition Senior Session held in south China's Xiamen city.

The Inter-Asia Philatelic Federation said philately in China has, under official direction, reached a leading-level.
