Iran slams IAEA resolutionIranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharazi slammed Friday the resolution adopted by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), but said Tehran would keep cooperation with the agency. Kharazi told state television that the IAEA yielded to the US pressure and did not make decision justly, saying "the agency focused mainly on minor problems, and expand the problems to act against Iran." "Anyway, Iran would keep cooperation with the agency," he said, pointing out that Iran would not accept any new obligations. The final resolution submitted by France, Germany and Britain was passed unanimously at the IAEA's board of governors meeting. The adopted resolution was revised with some softened expressions, but still urged Iran to provide more transparent cooperation. Source: Xinhua |
