Chinese vice president starts visit to four African countries

Chinese Vice President Zeng Qinghong left Beijing Sunday, starting an official visit to Tunisia, Togo, Benin and South Africa.

Zeng was invited by the Tunisian Prime Minister Mohamed Ghannouchi, Togolese President Gnassingbe Eyadema, Beninese President Mathieu Kerekou and South African Deputy President Jacob Zuma.

Zeng's entourage includes China's Minister of Education Zhou Ji, Minister of Commerce Bo Xilai, Vice Foreign Minister Dai Bingguo, Vice Minister of the State Development and Reform Commission Jiang Weixin, Vice Minister of Commerce Wei Jianguo, Vice Health Minister Huang Jiefu and Assistant to Foreign Minister Lu Guozeng.
