EU Commissioner for Enterprise and Information Society Erkki Liikanen visited People's Daily Online on the evening of June 22.

At the "Strong Country Forum" of People's Daily Online, Mr. Liikanen chatted with netizens under the theme "the next-generation communication technology & regulatory and industrial policy".

At the invitation of the General Administration of Quality, Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) and on his third official visit to China, Mr. Liikanen aims at promoting the increasingly close bilateral policy and regulatory cooperation between the EU and China in areas of regulatory and industrial policy as well as information society.
